NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT — Members of the Boyceville Lions Club put the finishing touches on the new playground equipment that was recently installed at Andy Pafko Memorial Park this past Monday evening, August 5. Phase two of the Lions’ playgorund project included a large new swing set and a pair spring-supported rocking vehicles – a fire engine and a police car – which were ready in time for last night’s National Night Out celebration. The new equipment cost nearly $10,000 with another $5,000 in costs for site preparation, concrete work, equipment setup and mulch. Lions members and a special helper posed with a piece of new equipment while phase one of the project can be seen in the background.
