Pelosi wants to end attempt to impeach
The Wicked Witch of the West, Congresswomen Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has requested that members of her party in Congress stop with the push to try to impeach President Trump. I promised that I would not call people, especially elected officials names, but I just can’t stop myself with Pelosi.
But, she has put out a call to her party’s delegation in the house not to try to impeach the president. It is not because she has anything good to say about President Trump or praise him because the country is in much better shape since he took office, like wages are increasing, unemployment is at a 50-year low, the GDP is beating all expectations, and according to Kevin McCarthy, “President Trump has been moving the country forward while the Democratic majority has been harassing our president and pushing failed socialist policies.”
She is calling off the impeachment, because there are no grounds for it and she knows they will fail and that will look very bad for the Democratic Party, come the 2020 elections.
However, Congressman Jerry Nadler, (D-NY) who is the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee has not yet got the message into his brain and he keeps spouting off that impeachment is needed.
I don’t know what the Democrats think that the Trump campaign did with Russia to influence the 2016 election. I did not get a call from any Russian who was willing to pay me to vote for Trump and I have not heard of anyone who did.
I believe that Pelosi knows that if her party keeps on the impeachment trail that will keep them from getting any work done in Congress over the next 19 months before the election and they will have to explain that to the American voters and Trump will be assured another term.
If you need to be told what needs to be fixed in this country, right off hand I can think of many items, like the border crisis, drugs, fix the affordable health care law, China, Iran, Social Security going broke and worst of all is that this country is well over twenty trillion dollars in debt.
Friday I heard the Democrat’s latest lame stunt and that is a Public Reading of the Mueller Report on the floor of the house. Well, one thing is for sure is that they will have read the document. I wish they had read the Obama Care Act, before they voted on it.
I recently read a quote by Fred Weinburg. The only Fred Weinburg that I know about is a rare coin specialist, but he made a quote that I thought was very good, and I would like to repeat it.
“I have a question for those screamers who claim to be students of the Chicago School of Economics. Or have a gig at one of the business television networks. What part of the Bill of Rights says ‘Congress shall make no law or allow no tariff abridging the right of citizens to gather at Wal-Mart and buy cheap Chinese crap? This president fixes things. The Chinese aren’t used to dealing with a President who fixes things.”
The senate is working on one bill that is needed and it is about addressing the Juvenile Criminal Justice system.
“Jurisdictions throughout the country allow courts to charge youth with administrative fees, public defender fees, probation supervision fees, fines, and other charges, which continues to trap them in the criminal system if they can’t afford to pay. Unfortunately, many of the youth trapped in the criminal system are still on probation after several years if they cannot pay their fees and fines.
“This led to the Senate considering the End Debtor’s Prison for Kids Act that was introduced by California Rep. Tony Cardenas (D) to authorize up to $500 million in annual federal funds to end juvenile justice fees.” So says The Conservative Woman. But it is uncertain at this time if the bill will pass.
