Four people have filed for the three open seats on the Glenwood City Council.
All three incumbents, Ben DeGross, Austin Sandow and Terry Klinger plus Bill Koosmann submitted nomination papers by the deadline of January 2nd for the two-year term on the City Council.
Also filing papers were incumbent Robert Unruh, for the open seat for a one-year term. Unruh was appointed last year to fill a seat left open by the resignation of Nancy Hover.
The General Election for the city council and all other municipalities in the state will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019.
Lagerstrom not seeking another term on Village Board
Mary Lagerstrom is not seeking another term on the Boyceville Village Board. Two other incumbent board members, whose terms will expire in April, have filed nomination papers for re-election. They are Brad Stevens and Bud Gilbertson.
Lukas Montgomery has also filed for the other open seat on the Village Board.
Incumbent village President Gilbert Krueger has filed for another two-year term.
For the Village’s Municipal Judge, incumbent Bradley Erickson did not file nomination papers.
Five file for three seats on Glenwood City School Board
Five people have filed for the three open seats on the Glenwood City School Board.
Incumbent school board member John Logghe did not file for re-election to the board. The other two incumbents, Lori Klinger and Sally Standaert along with Steve Davis, Danielle Unruh and Matt Main all filed a Declaration of Candidacy for the three-year term on the board.
Only incumbents file for Boyceville School Board
Only the two incumbents on the Boyceville School Board have filed for re-election for the three-year term on the Board. They are Tim Sempf and Jeremy Mittlestadt.
Two nominated for open seat on Wheeler Village board
Two people were nominated at last weeks Caucus to fill the open seat on the Wheeler Village.
The two are Lilly Milune and Therese (Tess) Kahler who seek the seat currently held by Diane Berry, who has sold her Wheeler home and moved out of the village.
