Clayton L. Yoder, age 82, of Knapp, WI passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his home.

He was born August 8, 1936 in Menomonie, WI to Ira and Gladys (McClelland) Yoder and was raised in the Knapp area.

On April 13, 1957, Clayton married Evelyn Drury in the Assembly of God Church at Red Wing, MN.

Clayton farmed in his younger years and has enjoyed doing carpentry work.  He worked at the Knapp Creamery for 43 years as a cheese maker, bulk truck milk hauler and retired as field man for the creamery.

He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

Clayton is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn; a daughter and two sons, Peggy Meyer, Scott Yoder and Jay Yoder; grandchildren, Christina (Chad) Diller, Danielle Meyer, Brooke (Scott) Mustonen, Brett Yoder, Forrest Yoder, Heather Yoder; great-grandsons, Clayton and Lucas Meyer; a sister Helen Hart and a brother Wayne Yoder; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Dennis; a brother Jim and two sisters, Marlys and Patsy.

There will be a private graveside service at Forest Hill Cemetery in the Town of Stanton, Dunn Co. WI with a lunch to follow at the Clayton and Evelyn Yoder home. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family
