PENNY LYNN SNYDER

Penny Lynn Snyder, 40, of Otter Creek, rural Wheeler, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the home farm.

Penny was born on July 21, 1978, in Bloomer, to David C. and Linda D. (Ellis) Snyder.

She attended Colfax High School and was involved in FFA, FFA Alumni, 4-H 22ers and Pony Tail Refuge and Rehab. Penny was always involved in community events, selling tickets and fundraising. She loved to be around people and helping anyone in need.

Penny enjoyed being outside on the farm and always made sure there was enough hay for the animals. She liked hunting, fishing, horses, cattle, chickens, ducks and pot-belly pigs. Penny was especially proud of her boys and loved to support them in everything!

Penny is survived by her sons, Jesse, Tommy, Luke and their dad, Mike Anderson; her father, David C. Snyder (Linda Prince McCluskey); sister, Helen (Robert) Hughson; aunts and uncles, Ardith (Kendall) Obermueller, Bruce Snyder and Jean Reischel; nieces and nephews, Mark, Peter, Jason and Diane McClenning, Amber Hughson; other family and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda; brother, David B. “Junior” Snyder; both sets of grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Sampson Funeral Home in Colfax. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the funeral home, with visitation starting at 1 p.m. Following the service, everyone is also invited for a reception at Club 40 starting at 4 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date in Popple Creek American Cemetery.
