NEKOOSA – Eight members of the Colfax Scholastic Trap Team attended the state competition in Nekoosa on Saturday, June 23. More than 1,200 shooters participated in the event. Members shoot 100 rounds within a one-hour timeframe and compete against shooters from throughout the state of Wisconsin.
The trap team has been practicing at least once per week since mid-March; the state event is the culmination of the shooting season. Any athlete interested in joining the trap team for next season should contact Head Coach, Todd Wanish, at 715.559.8314.
