Glenwood City MS/HS Top 10 List

CONGRATULATIONS to the seven FCCLA chapter members that competed at the 2018 FCCLA regional competition hosted at UW-Stout. All seven of them will move on to the FCCLA state competition hosted in the Wisconsin Dells in April. They are listed below:

1. Alexis Albrecht competed in Recycle and Redesign and earned gold. 

2. Leah Magsam competed in Event planning and earned gold. 

3. Hanna Strehlo and Delaney Quinn also competed in Event planning as a team earning a gold. 

4. Alex Holldorf and Melina Schultz competed in Sports Nutrition as a team and earned gold. 

5. Emma Scholler competed in Illustrate Talk and earned gold. 

6. Congratulations to the following students for having their work chosen to represent Glenwood City School District at the Youth Art Month Exhibit at the Capitol Building in Madison:  Carson Strong, Makayla Sina, Olivia Scalze and Quinn Taylor.

7. Kaitlyn Lee for completing a 252 page historical fiction novel which she started earlier in her 8th grade year.  It began as an assignment and has lead to her sending it onto a publisher for review. Way to go Kaitlyn!!  

8. Brendan Booth received 22/22 on his final presentation in 8th-grade Computers. He did a great job explaining the elements of his presentation without reading directly from the Prezi.

9. Brady McCarthy for being a positive role model, being very helpful when asked, and being a great student in class.

10. Jacky Vang for showing persistence on his current pottery project in 3D Design and Jewelry class.
