MENOMONIE — The names of both drivers in last week’s fatal collision on State Highway 79 south of Boyceville have been released.

According to a press release from the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, 54-year-old Jena D. Anderson of Boyceville was killed when her southbound Chevrolet was struck in an offset head-on collision by a Kia minivan driven by Todd R. Dormanen, also of Boyceville.

Initial crash investigation revealed Dormanen’s vehicle was going north in the southbound lane when it collided with Anderson’s vehicle.

Anderson’s 19-year-old daughter was a passenger in her vehicle at the time of the accident, and the press release indicates she sustained non-life threatening injuries. She was not named in the updated release provided February 14.

The initial press release said law enforcement suspected alcohol as a contributing factor in the collision.

The release issued last Wednesday noted Dormanen had been charged with fourth-offense Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. The release further indicated further charges will be considered by the District Attorney’s office once all evidence has been collected and reviewed.
