Motorcycle crash sends one to hospital

On Thursday, June 8, 2017 at approximately 4:50 a.m. Eau Claire Post troopers responded to I-94 mile post 11 west bound near Roberts for a motorcycle vs. deer crash.

Upon arrival the right lane was obstructed and traffic had to be routed around the crash scene. Traffic was backed up due to the crash incident. The driver of the motorcycle, Corey J. Baier, age 43 of Arkansaw, WI, was flown from the scene by helicopter.

The driver’s condition at the time of transport was critical.
