Motorcycle crash sends two to hospital

On Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 8:28 p.m., the Wisconsin State Patrol received a report of a motorcycle crash on I-94 westbound near the on-ramp at mile marker 41 in Dunn County near Menomonie.

Troopers discovered that a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle being driven by Dale Dean Thisius, age 56, from Edina, MN crashed on the ramp. A passenger on the motorcycle was identified as Teresa Ida Thisius, age 53, from Edina, MN. Both occupants received injuries in the crash and were transported by ambulance to local hospitals for treatment. Teresa Thisius was wearing a helmet. Dale Thisius was charged with Criminal Reckless Driving Causing Bodily Harm.

Blood alcohol results are pending. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
