CHS National Honor Society inducts 26 new members

COLFAX — The Colfax High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 26 new members April 19.
Officers of the Colfax NHS chapter are Ally Heidorn, president; Napoleon Nosker, vice president; Abbagail Schotter, treasurer; and Madyson Decker, secretary.
Cienna Cooper welcomed the new inductees while Napoleon Nosker introduced the current members.
Erin Nellessen outlined the requirements of being an NHS member, and Andrea Scharlau spoke about the founding of NHS.
Matthew Reisdorf explained what it means to be an NHS member, and Ally Heidorn introduced the new members, with Megan Schleusner speaking about character, Michael Lyrek speaking about scholarship, Hannah Yingst speaking about leadership, and Kaely Rieck speaking about service.
Madyson Decker led the NHS pledge, and Jezzica Tweed presented the certificates of membership.
Abbagail Schotter delivered the closing.
Advisors for National Honor Society are Mark Mosey, Lisa Neuburg and Jennifer Steinke.
Eve Suckow’s class produced the certificates. Trenton Anderson put together the programs, and Mrs. Neuburg’s class provided the desserts.
