Glenwood City MS/HS Top 10 List
February 6-17, 2017

1. Members of the Boys Varsity Basketball team who stepped up and sang the National Anthem at the Girls Varsity game on Monday night:  Dillon Hierlmeier, Pete Hill, Riley Schutz, Hadin DeSmith, Tanner Davis and Owen Wagner.  

2. Morgan Peterson, Kelsey Magsam, Emma Scholler, & Catherine Schurtz for planning the first ever FCCLA week at Glenwood.

3. Jake Omeara for working really well with the younger students and having a positive impact on 3rd graders during 1st semester and with 8th graders this semester as a TAP student!

4. Chance Rands for hitting it out of the park on his Nutrition test.  60/60.  Way to go Chance!

5. Hailey Schmidt and Brekayla Naser – for excellent scores on the Pythagorean Theorem Test!

6. Yearbook staff for all the hard work toward meeting our second deadline!  

7. The following HS Boys Basketball players for helping coach the elementary basketball clinics the past 3 Saturday mornings and doing a KNOCK OUT job! Tanner Davis, Hadin DeSmith, Brandyn Hallquist, Ethan Hanson, Dillon Hierlmeier, Jordan Klatt, Will Rosenow, Riley Schutz, Quinn Taylor, and Owen Wagner.

8. The following HS Girls Basketball players for helping coach the elementary basketball clinics the past 3 Saturday mornings and doing a KNOCK OUT job! Briana Barstad, Jessyca Crossley, Bella Gaustad, Jenesa Klinger, Bella Lawson, Cortney Lawson, and Olivia Scalze. 

9. Emily Hill for being a winner in the Meemic Masterpieces Art Competition.  Emily will receive an Amazon® HD Tablet and a Certificate of Appreciation and our school will receive $300 for art supplies from Office Depot.   Her artwork will be professionally framed and put on permanent display at Meemic Insurance Company headquarters located in Auburn Hills, Michigan.  Way to go Emily!!!

10. Congratulations to Will Rosenow, Brigitte Weyer, Julia Nerby and Tayler Crawford for having their artwork selected to represent Glenwood City High School at this year’s Youth Art Month State Capitol Exhibit in Madison this March!
