Colfax Varisty Dance Team performs at Menomonie Holiday Classic

The Colfax Varsity Dance Team performed at the Menomonie Holiday Classic this past Saturday. They performed their Pom routine to “Ballroom Blitz” and their Jazz routine to “He’s a Pirate”.

It was a tough lineup and they did not place as a team. Hannah Yingst and Abby Schotter performed a duet to “Sand”. They did an excellent job but there was only one division for ensembles for all schools. They did not place but they would have earned 2nd place in a small school division. Haley Seston and Caroline Dworak performed solos. Haley performed her solo to “Me Too” and medaled in 4th place. Caroline performed her solo to “Submarines” and earned 6th place in the small school division. Their next competition is the Dunn-St.Croix Conference competition in River Falls on January 14, 2017. In the meantime, they will be performing at most home basketball games.
