Colfax and Elk Mound Classes of 2016 graduate Friday, May 20

COLFAX — The Colfax High School and Elk Mound High School Classes of 2016 will graduate this Friday, May 20.
The two schools will graduate a combined total of 155 students.
Colfax
Commencement at Colfax High School is scheduled at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
The Colfax High School Class of 2016 will feature 74 graduates, of whom 22 are Top Ten and/or National Honor Society students.
President of the Class of 2016 is Grady Gibson; vice president is Trey Gullickson; Nicole Nierenhausen is secretary; and Andrea Brantner is treasurer.
The class flower is the white rose, and the class colors are red, black and silver.
The class motto is “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.” (Booker T. Washington)

Commencement at Elk Mound is scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday.
The Elk Mound High School Class of 2016 will feature 81 students, of whom 28 are high honor students and nine are honor students.
President of the Class of 2016 is Hannah Sue Brunner.
Valedictorian of the Class of 2016 is Makenna Kay Zurbuchen.
Salutatorian of the Class of 2016 is Krystal Dawn Nigon.
The class song is “See You Again” (Wiz Khalifa).
The class flower is a white rose.
