Colfax community Thanksgiving dinner offered at Colfax Methodist

COLFAX — Many of us may tend to think of Thanksgiving as a time to get together with family.

But what if you do not have any family close by? Or what if you do not have the means to cook a Thanksgiving dinner?

Once again this year, a group of Colfax community members are offering families and individuals a free Thanksgiving dinner.

The meal can either be delivered, picked up, or participants can can eat at noon at Colfax United Methodist Church.

The meal at Colfax Methodist starts at noon and will be served until 1:30 p.m. at Colfax Methodist United Church, 501 Cedar Street, on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26.

Deliveries or pick-up time will start at 10:30 a.m.

If you or someone you know may benefit from this meal, please contact the Colfax United Methodist Church at 715-962-4335.

Or, if you would like to make a donation (either money or food), please contact the Methodist Church by November 20.

Volunteers also are needed for meal preparation and delivery. Please contact the church if you are interested in helping out.
