Glenwood City MS/HS Academic Achievement Top 10 List (one extra!)

1. Makayla O’Brien:  Excellence in Algebra 2 (96% on test)

2. Tressa Peskar and Andi Britton:  Excellence in Geometry (97% on test)

3. To Kenny Vang for pushing himself to think outside the box in Painting and Printmaking class.

4. Taylor Mortel for being a wonderful choir student.  She always has great posture, always on task, and puts forth outstanding effort.

5. Sabrina Flettre, Nicole Peabody, Jake O’Meara and Joel Ormson for scoring 97% (or higher!) on the Sociology Research Methods Exam.

6. Rod Cassellius, Matt Prinsen and Brenden DeSmith for willingness to help Mr. Ketola when asked.

7. Bradley Kessler for his hard work ethic and initiative with self-paced work in Web Page Design.

8. Liz Wink  for scoring a perfect 100% on her Spanish 2 Test.

9. Maddy Wagner and Ellen Lindquist for volunteering their lunch hour to pack backpacks!!

10. Jack Kremer for taking the time to recognize the middle school XC runners at the banquet, and for providing each of them a written promise that he would attend as many middle school meets as possible next season to cheer them on.

11. The H.S. Girls’ Cross Country Team for persevering through an injury filled season to run their best race of the season at sectionals to qualify for the WIAA State Meet for the second year in a row.
