Colfax golfers conclude regular season last week

Competing in a pair of meets last week, several members of the Colfax golf team shot their personal best scores at the Krooked Kreek course in Osceola but struggled at the meet in Somerset.

Hannah DeMoe led the Lady Vikings with a round of 50 for fifth place at Krooked Kreek while Kaely Reick (54), Amanda Christianson (58), Abby Klurckmann (69) and Hannah Sykora (76) all had their lowest rounds of the season.

At the Somerset meet Sept. 22, DeMoe again had the low score for the team with a 53 followed by Christianson (64), Hannah Yingst (66), Reick (68) and Klueckmann (85).

The Somerset meet concluded the regular season for the Vikings and they will now compete Wednesday, Sept. 30 in the regional meet in Cumberland.
