The veterans of Russell Toycen American Legion Post No. 131 of Colfax held a military funeral for Lon H. Pecore on May 9, 2015, at the Colfax Evergreen Cemetery.

Those serving on the firing squad were Dale Bergeson; Donald Braaten; Tarry Turner; Christopher Larson; Roger Knutson; Brian Aasen.

Legionnaire in the Color Guard was Vern Hoveland.

Tom Dunbar served as the Chaplain.

The flag was presented to Lon Pecore’s niece, Katie Willoughby.
