On a cold and windy day, the Colfax golf team competed in Glenwood City for a conference match April 20, finishing fifth, then went to Mondovi on a sunny and much more warmer day for a makeup match April 23 and also claimed a fifth place.
Trevor Seston was the only Viking to break the 50 mark for the Vikings, shooting a 48 for the day for 14th place while Brett Prince carded a 53 for 23rd place. Trey Gullickson followed with a 54 in 24th place, Richard Stehling was 28th with a 57 and Treyton Teige shot a 62 for 31st place. Spring Valley’s Tyler Leach had the low score for the meet with a 39 while the match was won by Glenwood City.

With weather conditions much more favorable, Colfax had two players score under 50 including Seston with a 44 and Gullickson with a 49. With Prince running around the track back home, Stehling stepped up to card a 53 while Teige shot a 57 and Andrew Buckley a 64. The team score of 203 was the lowest for Colfax this season. Leach again was the individual winner with a 37 to lead the Cardinals to the team title.
