Today recalls sad memories of a loved one gone to rest;
And those who think of you today are those who loved you the best.
We think of you in silence, no one can see us weep;
But many a silent tear is shed while others are asleep.
Some think that we are not lonely when at times they see us smile; little do they know the heartaches that we suffer all the while.
As you rest in your grave, dear husband, your smiles are with us yet, our memory is as fresh as ever, because we cannot forget.
