Barbershop singers hold annual awards/installation banquet

The Dunn County Chapter of Barbershop Harmony presented special awards and installed the 2015 Officers and Board Members on February 7, 2015 at Mom’s restaurant in Colfax.

Tom Casey of Mondovi was presented the “Barbershopper Of The Year” award (BOTY) by Steve Brantner. Casey was recognized for his leadership and outstanding contribution to the Chapter throughout the year.

Pat Mulheron of Durand was presented with the “Music Director’s Award” by director Dave McNaughton. Mulheron was recognized for outstanding contribution in the area of Music Performance.

Both award recipients are members of the Dunn County Chapter of Barbershop Harmony Singers.

Peter Jarnberg, 10,000 Lakes Division Counselor, installed officers Gary Thorson (President), Craig Schultz (Secretary), Tom Casey (Treasurer), Steve Brantner (VP Chapter Development), Dave McNaughton (VP Music/Performance and VP Youth in Harmony), Pat Mulheron (VP Marketing/PR), Don Chamberlain (VP Program), Darrell Hoepner (Member-at-large), Juel Smith (Service Chairman).

The Chapter is preparing for it’s 46th Annual Show “It’s The Music!” to be performed on Saturday April 18, 2015 at 7:30 pm in the Colfax High School, Martin Anderson Gymnasium. Featured guests are our own Northern Light Chorus, Midnight Croon (2014 Land O’Lakes District Champions), Cheery-O’s (2014 Packerland Division Champion) plus much more!
