11 CHS students compete in FBLA regionals

Colfax High School FBLA had 11 students compete in the regional level of competitions at Chequamegon High School on Saturday, February 7. There were 30 schools in attendance from Region 1 which covers the area of northwest WI from River Falls to Superior and east to Stanley-Boyd and Mellen.

Listed below are the results of our students’ efforts:

• Zachary Meyer, Trevor Seston, and Jacob Steinke competed as a team in Sports & Entertainment Marketing and placed 9th overall.

• Lakken Meredith, Grady Gibson, and Brett Prince prepared a video to promote FBLA for the Digital Video Production event. They placed 6th overall.

• Jarrod Rudi took a test in Entrepreneurship and placed 6th.

• Courtney Dressel took a test in Healthcare Administration and placed 6th.

• Scot Schmock, Abbie Greenwell, and Andrea Brantner prepared a public service video about environmental concerns and presented it for the Public Service Announcement event. They won 1st place and will now advance to the state level of competition in LaCrosse on April 13-14.
