Kendall Nigon attends WASC Student Leadership Camp

Kendall Nigon, 7th grade student at Elk Mound Middle School, was a delegate to the 44th annual Wisconsin Association of School Councils (WASC) Level 1 Student Leadership Camp July 13-17th.

The camp, attended by Wisconsin middle and junior high school student leaders, was held on the campus of Ripon College in Ripon, WI.

The Director of the camp, Al Ask of Sparta, stated that, “The Leadership Camp is designed to foster the development of a sound philosophy of leadership as well as to increase each delegate’s leadership skills, personal self-understanding and self confidence.    In addition, the delegates also have the opportunity to share many ideas with and meet new friends from all around the state.”

Kendall is the Elk Mound Middle School Student Council Co-Vice President.  He is the son of Mike and Barb Nigon.
