This week was what everyone in the community was waiting for. Residents had much to do and enjoy.
Our activity programs were music by Chuck and Lenore and Hank on Monday, Bethany Bible school kids sang on Wednesday, bingo and happy hour on Tuesday and Friday. We also had Bowling, Rex Classes and movies and popcorn in the afternoons. Joy rides in the country were enjoyed by several residents.
On Friday and Saturday the old facility was lit up for the community to purchase items no longer in use by us as we held a thrift Sale. Friday evening the Pig Roast at our new campus kept everyone busy and well entertained with the music by “Two Frets Up” plus Andy on the banjo. Guests lingered until 8 just enjoying the beautiful evening and music. Jill, our administrator, was presented a $1,000.00 check by Kyle Kressin from the Kiwanis Club.
The weather was perfect all week here in the land of Colfax where the men and women and the children are the reason they call this place the Friendliest little town in Wisconsin.
