Elk Mound track teams compete in Bloomer, Amery

Needing to get back to competing after a long layoff, the Elk Mound track and field teams spent an afternoon in Bloomer at the Dave Landgraf Invite May 6 where the girls placed third and the boys fourth of 10 teams. Two days later they started a meet in Amery but heavy storms hit the area and ended things early. The boys managed to finish third of 11 teams while the girls were sixth in a field of 12.
