Buttles receives Washington Leadership Conference Scholarship

Jim Buttles of the Glenwood City FFA Chapter has been selected to receive one of only 19 Washington Leadership Workshop Scholarships from the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association, Inc.

Each year, FFA members from all over the United States travel to Washington, D.C. to attend the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC). During the five-day event, attendees learn how to become effective leaders by teaching them to know their purpose, value people, take action, and serve others. Participants will be taking time to tour our nation’s capital while attending this conference. FFA members leave WLC with the knowledge and the confidence to act in ways that help their schools, community, and their country.
