Each year St. Croix County Public Health recognizes a person or people who have been exceptional Public Health partners within our community. This is the 15th year we have given this award and are pleased to present Kim Dupre, Fay Strenke, and Tammy Wilson with the 2014 Friend of Public Health award.
These individuals were chosen for this recognition because of their dedication to the implementation of “Insight”, our new Electronic Health Records system, which will continuously assist staff to promote health and prevent disease.
Deb Lindemann, St Croix County Health officer states, “This year’s Public Health Week theme, “Start Here”, meaning start from the beginning and start at home to remain healthy. Daily Themes for your health and safety are:
• Be healthy from the start
• Don’t panic
• Get out ahead
• Eat well
• Be the healthiest nation in one generation; public health believes in prevention which is now a nationwide priority
