Klukas, Halpin, Davis win Colfax election

COLFAX — Of the five candidates on the ballot in the April 1 election for Colfax Village Board, one incumbent and two newcomers gathered the most votes.

Jeremy Klukas received the highest total for village trustee with 107 votes.

Incumbent Mark Halpin had the next highest total with 94 votes.

Carey K. Davis pulled in 64 votes.

Incumbent Richard Johnson received 64 votes.

George W. Richards came in with 48 votes.

The vote totals reported by Jackie Ponto, village administrator-clerk-treasurer, are considered unofficial until the ballots have been canvassed.
