International Award Winning Barbershop Quartet Performing at Colfax Barbershop Show

On Saturday, April 12th, at 7:30 PM “After Hours Quartet” will be performing at the Martin Anderson Gymnasium High School in Colfax for The Dunn County Barbershoppers 45th Annual Show, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love!”.

 “After Hours” received the award for 8th best Quartet in the World at the 2013 International Barbershop Convention Quartet Competition in Toronto, Canada. After Hours Barbershop Quartet, based in Central Illinois, started singing together in 2009. Since then, they have had the pleasure of performing in a variety of venues across the United States.

Another popular headliner in this area is CHIP’s Quartet. CHIP’s is a barbershop quartet from the Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls area of west-central Wisconsin. They are an officially registered quartet in the LOL District. Formed in January 1995, they steadily increased their ranking in official Barbershop Harmony Society’s quartet contests for the next couple years. They were crowned the District Novice Quartet Champions in Rochester, Minnesota in October 1996, and made it into the finals (Top Ten) in the October 1997 district contest in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Included in the evening’s entertainment are After Hours, Northern Lights Chorus, CHIP’s, Sir Arthur’s Court-tet, Dunn-4, Sunshine Express, Daytime Singers and much more.
