February blood drive in Colfax a success
COLFAX — The February blood drive in Colfax at Colfax United Methodist Church was a success.
The goal was to collect 25 units of blood, and a total of 24 units were actually collected — in spite of a less-than-perfect weather day.
The Methodist church, in addition to hosting the blood drive, provided cookies. The Colfax Comets 4-H Club donated crackers and cheese. The American Legion Auxiliary brought coffee and lemonade.
A variety of volunteers helped throughout the day.
The next Red Cross Bloodmobile in Colfax will be Thursday, June 19.
