Home Free is an a cappella group from Minnesota that recently stopped in Glenwood City on their tour to perform at the St. Croix County Fair this past July.

The group is composed of five men; brothers Chris and Adam Rupp, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist and Tim Foust.

The group auditioned for an NBC reality television show called “The Sing-Off” and were selected to be in the top ten. The show aired early in December and ran for three weeks with the group singing a variety of country music songs.

After being named the Sing-Off champions during Monday night’s episode (Dec. 22), Home Free received $100,000 and a Sony Music recording contract.
