Judy Horn, Carol Ebling, Colleen Schwegman and Kathy Reider traveled to Hudson on Sunday, November 17 for a Confirmation Dinner for Bryanna Sengbusch at the home of her parents, Joel and Brynda Sengbusch.
Floy Ann Lofthus went to visit her Aunt Jane Jankowsky at Waite Park, MN on Wednesday, November 13 and stayed until Saturday, November 16.
Dan Nelson of Morningside Apts went by ambulance to Sacred Heart Hospital on Sunday evening November 17.
Hannah Greenhill made a short visit with her cousin, Swanhild Rasmussen on Monday afternoon November 18.
Alex Vaughn, grandson of Tom and Judy Vaughn, graduated from basic training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on November 8, 2013. His family, Mike. Diane, Zach, and Haley Vaugh made the trip to Oklahoma to participate in the “Family Day” celebration on Nov. 7 and attend the graduation on November 8. Alex has now moved on to his advanced training at Fort Huachuca, Arizona where he will be studying satellite imagery analysis until May.
Tom and Caryl Schoen traveled to Big Bend last Friday, November 15 to visit their daughter, Tammi Benson and her family plus grandchildren and great grandchildren until Sunday, November 17.
Louie and Judy Reetz attended a birthday party for their grandchildren Masyn, age 7 and Brayden, age 11 at the home of their parents, Jeff and Jennelle Wolf at Elmwood on Sunday, November 17.
Herb and Doris Tallman attended church and also attended a play at Medford High School and then visited Joanie and Dean at the nursing home. Dean enjoyed pumpkin pie which Doris had brought.
Roger Paulson hosted an early Thanksgiving Dinner at his home in Lino Lakes, MN attending were: Dale and Sue Paulson, Eric Paulson, Ben, Sarah and Eddie Knepper, Dan and Debby Paulson, Troy and Becky Paulson, Addie, David and Analise, Aaron, Jenica, Benson, Kelsey and Danica Paulson, and Lynn Paulson and fiancée, Becca. Everyone had a good time just being together.
Pat and Ed McClure of North Pole, Alaska are visiting family in the area. Pat is part of the Loftus family. They will be busy making the rounds to see siblings and friends.
Independent Bible Church has a Thanksgiving Worship Service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, November 27.
New Hope Lutheran Church is having a Thanksgiving Service at the Pine Creek Lutheran Church this year on Wednesday evening, November 27 at 7 p.m.
