EM Board of Education expels student

ELK MOUND —  Following an expulsion hearing, the Elk Mound Board of Education has expelled a high school student.

 The expulsion hearing was held November 18 at 5:30 p.m., prior to the regular school board meeting.

One high school student was expelled for sexual harassment through the age of 21, according to Dr. Ron Walsh, Elk Mound school superintendent.

The expulsion hearing concluded shortly after 7 p.m., and the regular school board meeting convened around 7:15 p.m.
