Six Colfax students perform in Clearwater Choral Festival

Andrew Buckley, David Blanchard, Natalie Dworak, Abbie Greenwell, Heidi Lieffort, and Georgette Wendt had the honor of performing in Clearwater Choral Festival held at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Saturday, October 5.

Students were selected from their sections for their outstanding vocal leadership within the high school choir. The Colfax six, along with 175 other students from 30 high schools in Wisconsin and Minnesota rehearsed and performed under Eau Claire directors Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff and Dr. Allen Reick. After rehearsing during the day, they performed a concert that night with selections by Andre Thomas, Randall Thompson, George Frederick Handel, and David Dickau. All participants agreed that it was a valuable day singing with other exemplary singers.
