EM netters compete in Altoona

The Mounder volleyball team finished 1-3 at the Altoona tournament Oct. 12, losing matches to Eau Claire Memorial, Immanuel Lutheran and Altoona and defeating Durand.

Katie Johnson led the Mounders in assists with 64 in the four matches and Anna Sessions collected 23 kills to go with 17 by Elly Friberg, 16 from Morgan Polden and 13 by Lizzie Schreiber. Rachel Caron saved points with 23 digs and Kyra Anderson added 12.

In the win over Durand, Carissa Wieser slammed seven kills, Friberg came up with four service aces while Sessions had three, Dayna Koteckei saved points with six digs, Mattie Pitts and Sessions had five each and Anderson four.
