MENOMONIE — The 17th Annual Cooperative Breakfast recently took place on October 5 at Dunn Energy Cooperative and was deemed a huge success by event partners Cedar Country Cooperative, Dunn Energy Cooperative, Royal Credit Union, West Wisconsin Telcom and WESTconsin Credit Union.
The event attracted 1,230 attendees who enjoyed a hearty breakfast featuring Dad’s Belgian Waffles, sausage links, coffee, milk and juice. Planning committee members extend their appreciation to volunteers who helped with set up, serving and clean up duties, and to those who donated cash and food items to benefit Stepping Stones. Over $1,200 in funds and 1,300 food items were collected and given to the local non-profit organization to help those in need. Mark your calendars for next year’s breakfast, which will be taking place on Saturday, October 4.
