Glenwood City High School Hilltopper Marching Band earns top honors at Minnesota State Fair
The Glenwood City High School Band was recently notified that they won the Class C division of the Minnesota State Fair Marching Band Competition. The Class C Division is made up from high schools of enrollment under 350.
41 bands from Minnesota and Wisconsin performed throughout the fair. Director of Bands Matt Lamb commented, “I’m very proud of the kids, as I always am. It’s nice to know that students from a small school can share their talents with people from all over the area. We had a lot of spectators ask us where Glenwood City was.” The high school band performed this year at Valleyfair, Oakdale, MN, Boyceville, Glenwood City, Spring Valley, and at the Minnesota State Fair.
