CHS Class of 1963 holds 50th class reunion

OF THE 52 GRADUATING COLFAX HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS in the Class of 1963, twenty-six met at Whitetail Golf on August 10, 2013, to celebrate their 50 year reunion. All attendees, except for six, are Wisconsin residents.

Attending were Rosemary Kriegler Stoffel, Diana Moen McLaughlin (Pine City, MN), Peggy Mannes Jensen, Gladys Knutson Webb, Karen Hendrickson Halvorson, Judy Powers Saumer, Mary Ann Moen Loew, Arlene Schlough Kraft, Sharon Lofthus Nelson, John Hovre (Austin, TX), Art Loew, Gordy Knudson, Martha Wigdahl, Donna Rice Grabow (Claremore, OK), Carol Barstad Benish, Ron Halvorson, Jim Seehaver, Bob Christianson (Leavenworth, KS), Dan Krueger (Minneapolis, MN), Class Advisor, Merlin Paulson, Gene Haugle, Allen Froiland, Rodney Johnson, Tom Michels, John Bergeson, Andy Grabow (Claremore, TX), and Gary Stene.

Just five days prior to the reunion, word was received that LaVern Lee Gustum, classmate and a past reunion attendee, of Wetumpka, AL passed away  Organizers of the reunion, Judy Saumer, Rosemary Stoffel and Carol Benish announce that an informal reunion will be held again in five years with reminders to be mailed out in 2018.”         – photo submitted
