VILLAGE OF BALDWIN — On Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at 11:53 pm, United Fire and Rescue, Baldwin EMS and the Baldwin Police Department responded to a fire at the Coachman Supper Club, located at 795 Energy Street in Baldwin, WI. The business owner was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation-related injuries. The owner’s current condition is unknown at this time. Ten other local fire departments responded to a call for mutual aid to fight the fire. No one else was injured.
At the request of the Baldwin Police Department, agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice — Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), and agents from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms also responded to the scene. The Wisconsin State Patrol and the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, along with all of the above mentioned agencies, continue to conduct a fire scene examination as part of an origin and cause investigation.
