94th Colfax Free Fair begins Thursday

COLFAX — The 94th Colfax Free Fair begins Thursday, June 13, and ends on Sunday, June 16.

New at the fair this year is Bingo on Friday night at the free stage from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Participating in Colfax Free Fair Bingo is free, and the prizes that are awarded will be for use at the fair.

 The Country Acres Petting Zoo will be set up at the Colfax Free Fair as well.

The cost for wristbands is $15.

Here is a rundown of the fair schedule:

Thursday

12:30 p.m. — Small animal judging (rabbits and poultry).

1 p.m. — Arts and crafts exhibit judging.

4 p.m. — Midway opens.

5 p.m. to 9 p.m. — Wristbands.

9 p.m. to 1 a.m. — Steel Horse DJ and Karaoke in the beer garden.

Friday

9 a.m. — Swine judging. Goats, dairy, beef and sheep will follow.

3 p.m. — Midway opens.

4 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Wristbands.

6 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Bingo at the free stage.

9 p.m. to 1 a.m. — Three Bucks & Change in the beer garden.

Saturday

1 p.m. — Midway opens.

1 p.m. — Dairy Open Show (milking time at approximately 2:30 p.m.)

3 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Wristbands.

7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.— Larry Heagle at the free stage (sponsored by the Colfax Municipal Building Restoration Group.

8:15 p.m. — Awards for exhibitors at the free stage (weather permitting).

9 p.m. to 1 a.m. — Bumblefist in the beer garden.

Sunday

11 a.m. — Nondenominational church service at the free stage.

12 noon — Midway opens. Kiwanis chicken dinner.

1 p.m. — Meat animal auction.

1 p.m. to 4 p.m. — Wristbands.
