Two benefits to be held for Stella Krager

Stella Krager is the four-year-old daughter of Hedy Krager and granddaughter of Terry and Cindy (Stang) Krager, all of Woodville.

In late 2011 Stella lost most of her sight in both eyes, which was caused by her optic nerves being white instead of pink.

In September 2012 she lost muscle control in her entire body. She was diagnosed with Guillain–Barré syndrome. Days later she began experiencing trouble swallowing and breathing and began vomiting. After many tests, doctors narrowed her condition down to mitochondria disease.

Stella has a feeding tube, and is on oxygen 24-7. When she is able to come home, she will need 20 hours of in home nursing care.
