Colfax community forum on water quality May 28

COLFAX — A free community forum on water quality with special guest Neil Koch, hydrologist and geologist, will be held Tuesday, May 28, at 7 p.m. at the Grapevine Senior Nutrition Center, 121 Main Street, Colfax.

Come hear the story of groundwater, where does it come from and where does it go? What can we do to keep it safe to drink for the next generation? Could we run out of groundwater? Can groundwater be easily polluted? How does phosphorus get into river and wells? What can towns and counties do to protect groundwater? There will be time for questions and discussion.

This is a free event hosted by the Dunn County Democrats, and everyone is welcome.

Koch is a resident of the Town of Menomonie.
