Baldwin Area Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of a new Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to the medical staff. Linda Lindquist, CNP began employment at Baldwin Area Medical Center on March 26, 2013.
Linda Lindquist obtained her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN. She has a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN.
Linda specializes in women’s health and offers a wide range of services, including:
• Prenatal and postnatal care
• Visits for teens to discuss the menstrual cycle, developing sexuality, and what to expect at their first gynecologic exam.
• All forms of contraception
• Menopause-transition consults to help women understand this stage in the life cycle, common changes in the body, hormonal support treatment options, and strategies for achieving optimal health.
• Consults for women suffering from PMS
• Evaluation and treatment for gynecological problems
Linda was born at Baldwin Area Medical Center (formally Baldwin Hospital), and now resides in Glenwood City, Wisconsin with her husband. Linda has five children, two grown children and three teenage girls. Linda and her husband own Glenwood Orchard in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. In her free time, Linda enjoys baking for the orchard, spending time with family and friends, reading, and listening to classical music.
“I am excited to be a part of BAMC, and practice in my home community,” said Linda Lindquist, CNP. “My goal is to provide the kind of proactive health care that will help each woman stay well and prevent illness. I enjoy helping women on an individual basis stay as healthy as possible while providing a comforting atmosphere.”
