Military funeral for Knutson

The veterans of Russell Toycen American Legion Post No. 131 of Colfax held a military funeral for Julian C. Knutson on March 8, 2013, at the Holden Church Cemetery on County Highway M.

 Those serving on the firing squad were  Bill Yingst Jr., Chris Larson, Roger Knutson, Tarry Turner, and Tom Dunbar.

Legionnaires in the Color Guard were Vern Hoveland and Ray Johnson.

Tom Dunbar played Taps.

The flag was presented to Julian Knutson’s wife, Pat Knutson.
