Ruby’s Pantry will continue in Elk Mound

Ruby’s Pantry, a truck food distribution, will continue in Elk Mound for the year 2013, on the 4th Saturday of the month.

Ruby’s Pantry is a distribution program administered by Home and Away Ministries in Minnesota, and consists of quality surplus foods including frozen chicken, fresh potatoes, breads, and a changing selection of fresh vegetables, frozen pizzas, milk, yogurt, soda, and many other items. The distribution takes place at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, 207 University Ave in Elk Mound, and is run by many local volunteers.  The cost is a $15 donation. The new schedule includes a new starting time as of the February 23rd, 2013 distribution: Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the distribution begins at 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.or when food is gone.
