B-C drops final conference match

BARRON — In their last dual conference meet of the season, the Bloomer-Colfax wrestlers lost 64-18 at Barron in a match that was re-scheduled from two days earlier due to bad weather. It was a final tune up before the conference meet Feb. 2 in Ladysmith.

Earning six points each for B-C were Tucker Hovde, wrestling at 113 pounds, winning by a pin at 3:05 and Dan Thorgerson, also winning via a pin in 2:32 at 152 pounds, while Brady Simonson received a forfeit at 120 pounds.

B-C forfeited at 120, 132, 182 and 195 pounds and dropping their matches were Robby Rands, Jon Thorgerson, Ben Klatt, Jake Floodquist, Stephen Snyder, Ryan Ratcliff, Justin Wachtendonk and David Blanchard.
