Lillian Wendlandt, Janice Wendlandt, Jean Hanson and Judy Gronning attended the Chetek –Weyerhaeuser Band and Choir Christmas concert on Monday evening, Dec. 17.
Bob and Mary Hanson arrived home from Mesa, AZ for a short visit with family members over Christmas. They attended the Band and Choir Christmas concert at the Chetek H.S. on Monday evening, Dec. 17 where their grandson, Nathan Hanson participated joined by Nathan’s parents, Jim and Jessica Hanson and other family members.
John and Wendy Loy and family were present for the Band and Choir Christmas concert at Chetek High School. Zachary participated in the concert.
Preston and Payton Hetke were members of the Choir when they took part in the Band and Choir Christmas concert on evening of Dec. 17.
Becky Westholm was present for the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser H.S. Band and Choir Christmas concert on Dec. 17 when Brandon was a member of both the Band and Choir.
Jean Hanson, Janene Hanson and Nicole were in attendance for the Band and Choir Concert at Chetek High School on Monday evening, Dec. 17, when Ryan Hanson was a member of the Band.
Lois Asen’s granddaughter, Kayla Hoffman was part of the Winter Parade in Menomonie last week.
Irene Schultz of Menomonie visited Audrey Weaver at Morningside Apts. on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
Matthew Weiss, the grandson of Tom and Judy Vaughn graduated from the Auto Body Class at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire on Tuesday evening, Dec. 18. Previously he graduated from the Auto Mechanics Class at Chippewa Valley Technical College. Now he is qualified to work on the Mechanics of a car as well as the Body Work.
The Independent Bible Church held their Sunday School Christmas program on Tuesday evening, Dec. 18. Julie Koepp celebrated her birthday on that day so everyone enjoyed a piece of birthday cake following the program.
Snort Gilberts is looking forward to the arrival of his son, Mark Gilberts who has plans to arrive in Sand Creek on Dec. 21 and spend Christmas with his dad as well as his sister, Cindy Gilberts coming from Menomonie for Christmas.
The Martha and Mary Mission Group of Independent Bible Church had their Christmas meeting at the Chapel on the afternoon of Dec. 19.
Grandma Judy Reetz attended her granddaughter, Addy Welch’s band and choir Christmas concert at Elmwood on the evening of Dec. 19.
Doris and Herb Tallman braved the weather and roads on Thursday when Doris brought freshly baked cinnamon rolls to Morningside Apts. for a Christmas Coffee Party. The rolls were delicious!
Matt Dietsche drove down from Superior for a meeting in Rice Lake Following that meeting he continued his drive by coming to Sand Creek and stayed overnight with Doris and Herb Tallman until Friday.
Mary Knutson had the Deborah circle at her home for the December meeting and served a dinner to them to celebrate Christmas. Joining the group, were Tim and Dawn Knutson and Pastor Guy Redfield and his wife, Renee. The group totaled 18.
