Weinzirls and Scores have August’s top producing holsteins
There is a tie for the producing cow in Dunn County for the month of August. The Area Center of the Wisconsin Dairy Herd Improvement Cooperative reported the top producing cows that completed lactations in July.
The cows are bracketed into divisions according to age and breed, and the top producing animals are a four-year-old cow owned by Weinzirls Val-O-Mo Farm, with 40,016 pounds of milk and a four-year-old cow owned by David and Peter Score, with 39,870 pounds of milk. Both cows had a CY of 4204.
