Blomberg named president-elect at Realtor’s annual meeting
David FitzGerald of Kleven Real Estate in Eau Claire was named 2012 Realtor® of the Year by the Realtors® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin at their annual banquet, and Ben Rivard of Coldwell Banker Brenizer in Rice Lake was installed as 2012-13 President.
FitzGerald, whose one-year term as President ends September 30, 2012, received the award for his achievements and contributions to the real estate industry. He has served two previous terms as the
Association’s President and will continue to be involved by serving on the Board of Directors.
Other officers installed were Krag Blomberg, of the Colfax area, as President-elect and Tina Bann as Treasurer.
Brett Moravitz, Holly Bowe and Jeff Theisen were also installed as directors of the Association.
Butch Flor of Six Lakes Realty in Chetek received the Association’s prestigious Distinguished
Service Award in recognition of the many committees and leadership roles he has held on the local, state and national levels and his strong involvement in the local community.
Joan Englert also received the Association’s Distinguished Service Award. Englert, the Executive Vice President of the Association, is retiring after 30 years with the group. Brenda Barnhardt, who has a background in mortgage lending and other real estate related industries, has been hired as the new Executive Vice President of the Association.
The Realtors® Association of Northwestern Wisconsin is the largest real estate association in Wisconsin geographically and is the fourth largest association in terms of membership.
