Class reunion of 1941 and 1942

The Colfax High School graduating classes of 1941 and 1942 held their class reunion on September 15 at the Whitetail Golf Course.

Those who attended from the Class of 1941 were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ausderau (Mr. Ausderau was the valedictorian of the class); Vicki (Iverson) Hendricks; Vernoid and Ardys (Maukstad) Hovland; Elaine (Bartilson) Froiland; Swanee Rasmussen (visitor).

During the past year, the following class members have passed away: Alvina Frogner; Leslie Nelson; Lloyd Prochnow.

Those who attended from the Class of 1942 were Marcella (Buchner) and Bud Thorvelson; Vergene (Erickson) Viets; Javerna Fjelsted; Lillian (Gilberts) Wendlundt; Lloyd and Lillian Hainstock; Maynard and Shari (daughter) Nelson; Phyllis (Olson) Peterson; Elaine (Sparby) Toycen; Dick and Eldoris Toycen.

During the past year, the following have passed away: Melvina (Sparby) Waterhouse and Edward Lausted.

Flowers were given to Mrs. Marvel Entzminger to honor her as our only teacher who is still living.
